LucasArts | Star Wars Empire At War
You need to check that out. Why? FREE GAME. Empire at War is basically Command and Conquer in the Star Wars universe. Granted, we've heard that song and dance before in the form of Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds (or you may even remember Rebellion). Empire at War looks amazing. Some of the peeps that worked on C&C before EA gobbled up Westwood left/got fired and went off to start Petroglyph studios (who are behind this latest and greatest).
The demo is a free download and this I must say: I am IMPRESSED. I like the space warfare better than the ground campaign but the thing I like the most is the real-time galactic map. The final Christmas giftcard? GONE.
